Head of Operations

About the role

CoreHR Consulting is seeking a dynamic Head of Operations to lead and coordinate its day‑to‑day operations within the real‑estate sector. You will translate management priorities into actionable plans, oversee project execution, and ensure property and facility standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Operations function, turning strategic priorities into operational workstreams, timelines, and accountable owners.
• Oversee coordination and execution of real‑estate development projects, managing project managers, site personnel, contractors, and consultants.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, procurement needs, variations, and delivery risks, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Provide operational oversight for property and facility management to maintain agreed service standards.
• Direct and mentor Operations team members, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Prepare regular operational reports for the Managing Director, highlighting status, risks, and required decisions.
• Review and improve existing operational processes, creating practical systems, workflows, and controls.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Architecture, Construction, and other functions for cross‑departmental coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (professional certification advantageous).
• 7–10 years of post‑NYSC professional experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory, managerial or operational leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in real‑estate development, construction, property management or facility management.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, properties, contractors, consultants and operational teams.
• Strong track record managing deliverables, timelines, budgets, vendors and performance.
• Excellent reporting, process improvement, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
