Guest Arrival Expert

About the role

As a Guest Arrival Expert you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving and departing at Protea Hotel Benin City Select. You will ensure every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression, guiding guests through check‑in, check‑out and any on‑site requests while representing the Marriott brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage arrivals and departures, and provide personalized service.
• Process operational tasks such as room assignments, billing, and daily reporting.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, offering information about the hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Maintain accurate guest records and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and food‑and‑beverage teams.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness and professional appearance in line with company policies.
• Perform physical duties including lifting and moving items up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
• Ability to stand, walk and be on feet for extended periods.
• Professional demeanor, uniform compliance and strong communication skills.
