About the role
This full‑time Graduate Accounting Intern position is based in Ikoyi, Lagos and offers a hands‑on opportunity to support the finance team. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting and gain exposure to a wide range of accounting functions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, examining and analysing accounting records and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain the asset register by appraising, evaluating and taking inventory of company assets.
- Record, reconcile and post petty cash and fuel imprest, and reconcile payments and receipts.
- Administer payroll, control income and expenditure, and manage all accounting transactions.
- Audit financial information and compile reports, budgets, business plans and financial statements.
Required profile
- HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant accounting role.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and competency in using accounting software (advantageous).
