Generator Technician – Full-time in Igbesa, Ogun

About the role

VIJU Industries Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Generator Technician to join its team in Igbesa, Ogun. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reliable operation, maintenance, and performance optimisation of large‑capacity natural gas and diesel generators.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on generators rated above 800 kW.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control‑system faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate service logs, fuel records and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with the plant’s maintenance team to schedule outages and parts procurement.
• Ensure all safety and environmental standards are strictly adhered to.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years hands‑on experience with natural gas or diesel generators above 800 kW.
• Full‑time availability and willingness to work on‑site in Igbesa, Ogun.
• Proven ability to work independently and under pressure in an industrial environment.
