General Manager, New Technologies

About the role

The General Manager, New Technologies will steer the company’s emerging‑technology agenda, shaping long‑term strategy and driving market‑leading solutions across cybersecurity and cloud services. Reporting to the Managing Director/CEO, the role combines deep technical insight with commercial acumen to position the organisation at the forefront of Africa’s digital future.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a five‑year cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead cyber security operations, threat intelligence, incident response, vulnerability management and security operations.
• Design and implement enterprise cyber security frameworks, policies and standards, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Forge strategic partnerships with cybersecurity vendors and industry stakeholders.
• Develop and execute a five‑year cloud solutions strategy to expand service offerings and revenue.
• Oversee delivery of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, migration, optimisation, governance and security for enterprise clients.
• Build alliances with major cloud providers and identify emerging market opportunities.
• Drive product innovation and oversee delivery of secure, market‑responsive solutions.
