Fund Manager

About the role

Pere Castle Consultants is seeking an experienced Fund Manager to design and execute investment strategies that meet client objectives while managing risk. You will oversee equity, fixed‑income and alternative portfolios, providing insightful analysis and client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with client risk tolerance and goals.
• Manage diversified portfolios across equity, fixed‑income and alternative assets.
• Conduct valuations of listed and unlisted securities and perform financial and industry analysis.
• Monitor portfolio risks, including market, liquidity, concentration, operational and credit exposures.
• Perform stress‑testing, scenario analysis and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Engage institutional and high‑net‑worth clients to discuss performance and opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with trustees, custodians and regulators, ensuring full compliance with capital‑market rules.
• Identify growth opportunities and new investment products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Professional membership in CFA, CIS, CISI, ACCA, CIBN or FRM.
• 3–5 years of experience in fund/asset management, investment banking, stockbroking, pension fund administration or wealth management.
• Proven track record of managing diversified portfolios and delivering sustainable returns.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial information clearly.
