Functional Manual Tester

About the role

Leaders Network is seeking a Functional Manual Tester to ensure software quality through thorough testing. You will work closely with developers and product owners to validate that applications meet business and functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review business and functional requirements and design test scenarios.
• Create and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA team members.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and usability problems.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Participate in requirements reviews and overall quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester, QA Tester, or Functional Tester.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.
• Experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira.
• Strong analytical, documentation, attention‑to‑detail, and problem‑solving skills.
