About the role
This position is for an experienced Chief Engineer or Master Mariner to lead operations of Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) assets in Nigeria. The role combines technical oversight, stakeholder management and hands‑on involvement from project start‑up through day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage FSO/FPSO assets, ensuring safe and maintainable facilities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead start‑up activities and coordinate with owners, operators and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership to guarantee compliance with industry standards and operational best practices.
Required profile
- Chief Engineer or Master Mariner background on VLCCs or oil tankers.
- Minimum 5 + years of hands‑on FSO/FPSO asset handling experience.
- 10 + years in senior FPSO/FSO roles, including start‑up experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
