Front Desk Officer – Reception & Admin Support

About the role

We are seeking a professional Front Desk Officer to be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and staff at our Abuja office. The role combines reception duties with basic administrative support, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and receive visitors, clients and staff in a warm, professional manner.
• Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area at all times.
• Manage visitor logs and issue passes or badges in line with security procedures.
• Receive, sort and distribute mail, packages and deliveries.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting‑room bookings.
• Provide basic administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, filing and data entry.
• Assist HR/Admin with clerical tasks, including attendance records and courier dispatch.

Required profile

• OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a front‑desk, receptionist or customer‑service role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional appearance.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and comply with company policies.
