Fraud Management Manager – Finance

About the role

Lead the development and implementation of the business and strategy plan for fraud management within the Finance division. Coordinate the subscriber fraud operations team, ensuring effective detection, prevention and control of external subscriber fraud across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud management strategy and business plan.
• Plan, prioritize and coordinate the work of the subscriber fraud operations team.
• Own the fraud management system, defining business cases and requirements for future integrations.
• Promote business awareness of fraud initiatives and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
• Research, document and apply industry best practices for fraud prevention and detection.
• Establish external fraud detection policies, processes and procedures.
• Create and maintain a subscriber fraud referral process.
• Implement measurable fraud prevention controls and report fraud levels and losses.
• Analyse departmental workload versus resources to optimise utilisation.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to proactively prevent fraud and enhance detection capabilities.
• Document current and future policies, procedures and processes impacting the fraud function.

Required profile

• First degree in a related discipline; professional qualification preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• 6–13 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience working in medium to large organisations, with a focus on fraud operations or policy.
