Forklift Operator

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Port Harcourt. The role involves safely moving, loading and stacking materials across our mining and energy site, ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for material handling tasks.
• Load, unload, transport and stack products according to site procedures.
• Conduct daily pre‑operation inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
• Keep the work area clean and perform basic maintenance on the equipment.
• Assist with stock arrangement and overall warehouse organization.
• Follow all HSE policies, safety procedures and traffic regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/OND qualification.
• Valid forklift operating certificate or licence.
• 2–5 years of proven forklift operating experience.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and material handling.
• Knowledge of HSE practices and equipment safety standards.
• Physically and medically fit for operational duties.
