About the role
Venmac Resources Limited, a hotel management company, is looking for a Food & Beverage Waitress to serve menus, dishes and attend to guests. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the role focuses on delivering excellent customer service within a hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and escort customers to their tables.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on portions, ingredients, and potential allergens.
- Prepare tables with linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Offer menu recommendations and up‑sell additional products when appropriate.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Ensure dishes and kitchenware are clean and properly presented; report any issues.
- Clear dirty plates, glasses and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Review daily specials, menu changes and reservation specifications with restaurant staff.
- Follow all relevant health department regulations and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
