Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations at the Four Points by Sheraton property in Ikot Ekpene, Nigeria. This includes culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room‑service areas, ensuring guest satisfaction, compliance with regulations, and achievement of financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily operations of the culinary, restaurant, beverage and room‑service departments, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
• Develop, monitor and control budgets, cost‑management indices and financial performance for the F&B outlets.
• Lead, coach and schedule the F&B team, handling performance reviews, training and employee engagement.
• Address guest concerns promptly, uphold the brand’s service culture and ensure banquet and event standards exceed expectations.
• Conduct HR activities such as performance assessments, mentorship, and development of training programs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least four years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or related fields, OR a two‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related discipline with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable food and beverage laws and regulations, and ability to develop and implement business plans for the department.
