Flight Dispatch Instructor

About the role

The Flight Dispatch Instructor will lead the delivery of both basic and advanced flight dispatcher training programmes, ensuring that all course material complies with Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations and industry best practice. The role involves curriculum development, classroom instruction, and assessment oversight for trainee dispatchers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain up‑to‑date Training Needs Analyses for all approved flight dispatcher courses.
• Approve and update training manuals, electronic presentations, lesson plans, study guides and examinations to reflect current regulations.
• Deliver high‑standard classroom instruction and practical drills to flight dispatcher trainees.
• Assist the lead instructor with proficiency drills, continuation training and examination invigilation.
• Support the school in planning, scheduling and quality‑control monitoring of training programmes.

Required profile

• B.Sc/HND in Science (minimum second class lower) and WAEC with at least five credits including Mathematics and English.
• Valid flight dispatcher or pilot licence, aged 24‑30, with NYSC completed.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a flight dispatcher.
• Qualified ground instructor with NCAA Instructor Authorization.

Required skills

• Strong aeronautical knowledge covering flight dispatch certification standards.
• Proficiency in preparing and presenting training materials in line with Nig.CARs.
