Fleet Supervisor

About the role

The Fleet Supervisor will lead the Fleet team to ensure daily availability and deployment of riders, drivers, and vehicles, meeting operational requirements for Africa Delivery Technologies Limited. This role involves coordinating schedules, managing third‑party delivery partners, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Fleet team, prepare work schedules, assign responsibilities and ensure adequate fleet coverage across operating hours and service locations.
• Source, onboard, verify and manage reliable third‑party delivery and fleet partners, maintaining accurate records of licences, insurance, permits and other documentation.
• Collaborate with Order Management and Operations teams to assign suitable delivery partners based on location, capacity and service requirements.
• Monitor fleet availability, utilization, trip progress and partner performance, and investigate incidents such as accidents, breakdowns or service failures.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on fleet metrics, incidents, costs and recommend improvements to management.

Required profile

• HND or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• At least three years of experience in fleet coordination, transport operations or logistics, including supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong understanding of third‑party fleet management and asset‑light logistics operations.
• Knowledge of vehicle documentation, road safety requirements, maintenance processes, insurance and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond promptly to operational disruptions.
