Fleet Recruitment Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Fleet Recruitment Specialist to lead the sourcing, verification and onboarding of riders, drivers, vehicle owners and transport partners for Africa Delivery Technologies Limited (Kwik). The role focuses on building a robust fleet capacity across Lagos and ensuring partners meet our service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for riders, drivers, vehicle owners, transporters and fleet partners.
• Source candidates through referrals, field recruitment, online platforms, associations and community networks.
• Maintain a strong recruitment pipeline and track fleet capacity across locations, vehicle categories and service lines.
• Screen applicants, verify identity, licences, vehicle ownership, insurance, permits and related documentation.
• Coordinate interviews, background checks, vehicle inspections, onboarding, orientation and platform registration.
• Collaborate with Fleet, Order Management and Operations teams to forecast demand and prioritize recruitment needs.
• Monitor newly onboarded partners through activation and initial deployment, addressing any readiness challenges.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on recruitment pipelines, verification, onboarding, activation, retention and costs.

Required profile

• OND or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in fleet recruitment, field recruitment, logistics or transport operations.
• Established network of riders, drivers, vehicle owners, transporters and relevant associations is highly desirable.
• Strong field‑sourcing, networking, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to work with recruitment targets, maintain an active pipeline and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Excellent attention to detail for verifying documentation and identifying inconsistencies.
