Financial Analyst

About the role

Thronos Alliance is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join its finance team in Lagos. You will play a key role in analysing financial performance, supporting budgeting cycles, and providing insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and overall profitability.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Develop management reports and interactive financial dashboards.
• Evaluate business investments, projects and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs.
• Perform industry, market and competitor analysis.
• Identify cost‑optimization and revenue‑enhancement opportunities.
• Prepare financial presentations for senior management.
• Maintain accurate financial databases and analytical models.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA or CIMA is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools (advantage).

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 400,000 to NGN 600,000 per month.
