Financial Advisor

About the role

The Financial Advisor will work on‑site in Lagos, providing personalized financial guidance and insurance solutions to both individual and corporate clients. You will help clients define their financial goals, assess risk, and design comprehensive plans that cover protection, retirement, and investment needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients' financial objectives and risk profiles.
• Develop and present tailored financial and insurance plans.
• Recommend suitable products in protection, retirement, and investment areas.
• Conduct regular client meetings, portfolio reviews, and policy servicing.
• Explain complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Collaborate with underwriting and policy administration teams to ensure timely execution.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to keep recommendations up‑to‑date.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Prospect new clients, network, and support marketing initiatives to grow the client base.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial planning and retirement planning.
• Solid foundation in finance and investments with the ability to analyze options and assess risk.
• Proven experience in financial advisory and long‑term client relationship management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or related field; professional certifications (CFP, CFA or local equivalents) are a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse clients.
