About the role

We are seeking a Finance Supervisor to oversee the accounting functions for Oilserv Limited’s operations in Port Harcourt. The role involves managing accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and financial reporting to support our EPCIC activities in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

Process client and vendor invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable.
Utilize accounting software to perform financial transactions and maintain records.
Respond to internal and external account inquiries.
Prepare and review payroll, salary payment advice, and related financial commitments.
Conduct bank and cash account reconciliations.
File monthly VAT accounts and ensure timely payment of statutory obligations.
Prepare financial reports and support the Finance & Accounts department as required.

Required profile

B.A/B.Sc. in Finance or Accounting (M.Sc. is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar finance supervisory role.
Professional accounting certification such as ACCA or ICAN.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
