Finance Officer

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare and diagnostics organization, is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Finance Officer to support its financial operations and ensure sound financial management across the organization. The role involves financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, accounts management, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies to improve liquidity.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain effective internal control processes and ensure statutory compliance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support finance automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ICAN qualification (or advanced/professional stage) – ACCA or ANAN is a plus.
• 2–4 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or diagnostics.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory compliance.
