Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions for Primote Africa’s advertising platform. The role will support strategic decision‑making by providing accurate financial insights and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Track and analyse revenue streams from platform usage, brand campaigns and commercial partnerships.
• Ensure accurate financial statements, management reporting and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Support pricing models, commercial contracts and financial aspects of brand and business deals.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Provide financial insights to leadership to guide investment in product, growth and operations.
• Optimize financial processes and systems as the platform scales.
• Supervise finance/accounts team members where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including managerial responsibility.
• Experience in technology, SaaS or advertising/media businesses is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, revenue recognition and internal controls.
• High integrity, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines in a growth‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software and analytical tools.
