Field Sales Representative – Lagos

About the role

Data Foundry is looking for a motivated Field Sales Representative to promote its business‑management software across Lagos. You will work directly with business owners and managers, showcasing the solution on your Android device and helping new customers get started.

Key responsibilities

• Visit targeted businesses in your assigned Lagos area and engage owners/managers.
• Understand current processes for sales, stock, debtors, staff and records.
• Demonstrate the software clearly using an Android smartphone.
• Explain product benefits, answer questions honestly, and guide prospects through onboarding.
• Follow up with new users, resolve early issues or escalate them appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records of conversations, demos, objections and outcomes.
• Achieve weekly activity and sales targets.

Required profile

• Confidence in face‑to‑face interactions with business owners.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to simplify product explanations.
• Resilience and professional handling of rejection.
• Quick learner, open to feedback and continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge of at least one commercial area in Lagos or experience working with local businesses.
• Reliable Android smartphone and comfort using mobile apps.
• Independent field worker with accurate reporting habits.
• High integrity, reliability and professionalism.
