Field Sales Executive – Bayelsa & Portharcourt

About the role

The FMCG distribution company is looking for a motivated Field Sales Executive to manage the Bayelsa and Portharcourt territories. You will be responsible for promoting and selling a portfolio of beverage (both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic) and food products to wholesale outlets, ensuring strong market presence and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and onboard new customers within the assigned territory.
• Maintain regular sales contact with both new and existing customers.
• Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for the region.
• Ensure optimal product display and visibility across wholesale outlets.
• Introduce and promote new product launches.
• Advise customers on best‑selling patterns and product mix.
• Represent the brands during all customer and prospect interactions.
• Provide feedback on competitor activities and market trends.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to understand their needs.
• Perform other duties as designated by management.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in FMCG, specifically beverages and food products.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Target‑driven, self‑motivated and willing to travel to Lagos as required.
