Field Customer Officer

About the role

The Field Customer Officer will drive customer acquisition and promote Kenex Konsults International’s banking and financial products across Port Harcourt and surrounding areas. This role blends field sales, marketing, and relationship management to expand the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers through field visits, referrals and networking.
• Promote products and services to individuals, businesses and corporate clients, generating qualified leads.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly acquisition and sales targets.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Perform regular follow‑up visits to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Resolve complaints and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM or sales database.
• Execute field marketing campaigns, roadshows and distribute promotional materials.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs and community events.
• Gather market intelligence through surveys and competitor analysis.
• Provide feedback to management and recommend strategies for product penetration.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly activity and sales reports.

Required profile

• OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in field sales, marketing, customer service or business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong persuasion and customer‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to ride a motorcycle or drive a vehicle.
