Farm Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Farm Administrator to manage livestock records, inventory and daily operations at MDNI Farms. The role combines hands‑on goat care with digital reporting and social‑media outreach to promote the farm’s activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate livestock health, breeding and movement records and update them daily in the MDNI Farms app.
• Conduct routine inventory checks for feed, medications, vaccines and report shortages or expiries.
• Act as the communication link between management and farm workers, assigning and tracking tasks.
• Create and publish 3‑4 quality posts per week on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, including sales videos and educational content.
• Assist with goat care – feeding, cleaning, health checks – and capture clear photos and videos for reporting.

Required profile

• Practical knowledge of goats and at least 3‑5 years experience in livestock farming, farm supervision or related agricultural operations.
• OND/HDN in Animal Sciences or a related field and good spoken and written English.
• Physically able to handle routine farm duties and highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Smartphone operation and use of WhatsApp Business.
• Photography and video capture for livestock reporting.
• Social‑media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and basic audience engagement.
• Video‑editing tools such as CapCut, Canva or InShot.
• Microsoft Word and spreadsheet management.
• Familiarity with the MDNI Farms app for record‑keeping.
