Facility Manager

About the role

Vivabella Homes Limited is seeking a proactive Facility Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of its housing facilities in Marina, Lagos. You will ensure that all areas remain clean, safe, functional, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, rooms, common areas, utilities, equipment and other assets.
• Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance activities and promptly address repair needs.
• Manage external contractors, technicians, cleaners, security personnel and other service providers.
• Monitor utilities such as electricity, water, waste management and plumbing.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, assets and service providers.
• Develop and monitor maintenance schedules and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and facility regulations.
• Respond to emergencies, breakdowns and facility‑related complaints.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment and tools.
• Liaise with management, residents, vendors and service providers to resolve concerns.
• Prepare regular reports on operations, expenses and outstanding issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in facility, property or estate management.
• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Business Administration or related field (advantageous).
• Practical knowledge of residential/housing facility operations and maintenance.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
