Export Sales Executive

About the role

Made By Nigerians is a community supporting Nigerian creators in showcasing locally made products and services, and connecting demand with supply. It is hiring an Export Sales Executive for a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with some flexibility for work from home. The role identifies and develops international sales opportunities for Nigerian-made products and services, focusing on building and managing export channels.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage overseas buyers
• Negotiate sales agreements
• Coordinate export documentation and logistics
• Ensure compliance with international trade requirements
• Work with creators and internal teams to prepare pricing, product information and proposals
• Track sales performance and market trends
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and provide regular order updates
• Contribute to export strategy and market expansion plans

Required profile

• Experience in export operations, including export documentation, logistics and compliance
• Proven background in international sales, including lead generation, negotiation and closing deals
• Knowledge of international business practices, trade regulations and cross-border commerce
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or consumer products is an advantage, especially with African or emerging markets
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets
• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, Marketing or a related field preferred
