Equipment & Logistics Officer – Port Harcourt

About the role

DAIIK Engineering Limited is seeking an Equipment / Logistics Officer to manage the flow of tools, machinery and materials for its projects in Port Harcourt. The role ensures that all assets are tracked, maintained and delivered on schedule, supporting engineering and construction activities across the oil & gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Track and record all incoming and outgoing tools and machinery.
• Schedule regular maintenance and repairs for damaged equipment.
• Conduct routine inventory audits and asset counts.
• Tag and register new assets in the company database.
• Plan transport and delivery schedules for equipment and materials.
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of items to project sites.
• Book transport providers, freight services, or vehicles and monitor transit movements.
• Prepare shipping manifests, waybills and delivery receipts.
• Maintain safety and regulatory standards for transport and handling.
• Reconcile fuel usage, vehicle logs and transport costs.
• Report lost, broken or obsolete items to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Transport Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, fleet management, equipment coordination, procurement or supply chain operations.
• Good knowledge of logistics planning, inventory control and equipment documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
