About the role
We are looking for a dedicated English/Literature Teacher to deliver comprehensive language instruction to secondary school students in Lagos.
Key responsibilities
- Teach English grammar, comprehension, composition, summary, and literature.
- Prepare lesson notes, lesson plans, and schemes of work.
- Mark assignments, classwork, tests, and exam scripts promptly.
- Improve students' spoken English, reading, and writing skills.
- Prepare SSS3 students for external exams (WAEC/NECO/JAMB).
- Maintain discipline, control the class effectively, and keep records of academic performance.
Required profile
- NCE in English/Literature.
- Minimum 2 years' teaching experience in secondary school.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Reside around Aguda, Surulere, Orile, Ijeshatedo and be punctual, neat, and passionate about teaching.
