Energy and Fluid Specialist

About the role

The Energy and Fluid Specialist will lead the Process Engineering function at the Ilesa Brewery, focusing on optimizing utility generation and utilisation across brewing and Energy & Fluid (E&F) operations. You will drive performance improvements, ensure process stability, and support capital projects to enhance plant capability.

Key responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to support brewing and E&F production teams in achieving optimal plant performance.
• Lead and execute process optimisation initiatives and capability studies to improve utility generation and utilisation.
• Provide design support and lead small CAPIN projects for regional capital projects.
• Coach process engineering trainees and coordinate improvement projects across brewing and E&F plants.

Required profile

• Minimum BSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 3‑5 years of experience in process engineering within brewing or related industrial environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Proactive, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Design and commissioning of plant equipment.
• Knowledge of Energy & Fluid systems in brewing operations.
