Electrical Engineer – Solar PV & Power Systems

About the role

Swift Consulting is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to lead the design, installation and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) and power generation projects in Lagos. You will work closely with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver reliable, standards‑compliant electrical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install and commission solar PV systems and other power generation equipment.
• Plan, supervise and maintain electrical wiring for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot power distribution networks.
• Conduct site surveys, load assessments and feasibility studies.
• Prepare electrical drawings, technical reports and project documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Supervise technicians, contractors and project teams.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Liaise with clients and provide technical support throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in solar energy, power generation or electrical installation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Membership or registration with a professional engineering body is an advantage.
