About the role
We are seeking an experienced Editorial Manager to lead content creation for a digital platform focused on Africa’s creative economy. This remote position involves researching trends, covering events, and delivering engaging stories.
Key responsibilities
- Research and report on news and trends across Africa’s creative industries.
- Cover industry events, conferences, and creative showcases.
- Produce accurate, engaging stories through in-depth research.
- Support editorial planning and content calendar management.
- Maintain editorial standards and meet publication deadlines.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in journalism, media, or content creation.
- Strong writing, research, and storytelling skills.
- Knowledge of Africa’s creative economy, including fashion, music, art, and film.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
