Dispatch Rider

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Dispatch Rider to join Kenex Konsults International in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages, documents and products across Marina and the wider Rivers State area, ensuring timely and safe service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver parcels, documents and goods to designated locations promptly.
• Plan efficient routes to optimise delivery times and fuel consumption.
• Verify delivery details, obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
• Handle items carefully to avoid damage, loss or tampering.
• Perform daily inspections of the assigned motorcycle, report maintenance needs and keep the vehicle clean and fueled.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage and expenses.
• Communicate any delays, incidents or updates to the supervisor.
• Collect payments or documents from customers when required and ensure correct remittance.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service throughout interactions.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• At least two years of experience as a Dispatch Rider, Courier Rider or similar role.
• Valid Rider’s Permit and Nigerian motorcycle driver’s licence.
• Good knowledge of local road networks and ability to navigate using GPS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, reliable and able to work independently.
• Physically fit to handle delivery duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS navigation applications such as Google Maps.
