Director Government Relations

About the role

The Director of Government Relations will lead Honeywell Technologies' engagement with government bodies, industry associations, and key stakeholders. This senior position shapes policy strategy, monitors regulatory changes, and ensures the company’s interests are represented at the highest level.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and advance legislative and regulatory proposals aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, analyse, and report on legislative and regulatory issues that could affect the company.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regulators, elected officials, civil servants, and other stakeholders.
• Produce high‑quality briefings, recommendations, publications, and presentations for government audiences.
• Coordinate strategy with consultants and trade associations to ensure unified advocacy.
• Facilitate communication between senior leadership and external stakeholders, including briefings and campaign reviews.
• Represent Honeywell on industry associations, steering committees, and networking groups.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of government processes, policies, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven capacity to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
