Direct Sales Agent – Banking Products

About the role

The Direct Sales Agent will promote the bank’s suite of financial products, acquire new customers and build lasting relationships. Working primarily in the field, you will be responsible for driving loan disbursement, deposit mobilization and overall revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through field sales, referrals, direct prospecting, and other approved channels.
• Promote the bank’s products and services, including loans, savings, accounts, digital banking solutions, and other financial products.
• Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into active customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Explain product features, eligibility requirements, repayment terms, and other relevant information to customers.
• Support customers through account opening, onboarding, documentation, and loan application processes.
• Conduct market visits and identify new business opportunities within assigned locations.
• Achieve assigned customer acquisition, loan disbursement, deposit mobilization, and revenue targets.
• Follow up on leads and maintain an active pipeline of prospective customers.
• Work closely with the Credit, Risk, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, sales activities, and follow‑ups.
• Ensure compliance with KYC requirements, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports to the line manager.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of public sector lending.
• Strong customer relationship skills and excellent communication.
• Ability to achieve set sales targets and contribute to company growth.
• Customer‑oriented mindset.
