Desktop Technician Level 1 – Lagos

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Technician Level 1 to join our IT team in Lagos. The role involves installing, configuring and maintaining desktop workstations, laptops, printers and telephone systems, and providing first‑line support to end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops (Windows 7/10, macOS), printers and standard/VOIP telephones.
• Handle equipment moves with minimal supervision and answer basic user queries about equipment features.
• Identify and resolve basic hardware and software issues, escalating more complex problems to senior staff.
• Participate in limited‑complexity projects under close management.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in network support or a similar role.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco or comparable networking equipment and familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory is advantageous.
