Database Administrator - DBA (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our client’s team on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while ensuring high‑performance, secure, and reliable database environments for a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain relational database systems to meet business requirements.
• Monitor performance, tune queries, and optimise resource utilisation.
• Maintain data integrity, enforce security controls, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and other database issues.
• Collaborate with development and analytics teams to support application needs and data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in database administration and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, contract‑based setting.
