Data Science Instructor

About the role

The Data Science Instructor will deliver practical, engaging lessons in data analytics and data science to students in Abeokuta. The role involves guiding learners through real‑world datasets, projects, and case studies while keeping course content current with industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lessons on data analysis, cleaning, visualization, and basic machine‑learning concepts.
• Teach tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python and associated libraries.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, practical exercises and assess student performance through tests and projects.
• Provide constructive feedback, monitor progress, and help students build portfolio‑ready projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or professional qualification in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, IT or related field.
• Strong practical experience in data analytics or data science and ability to work with real‑world datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied skill levels.
