Culinary Executive

About the role

Droomwork Limited is seeking a Culinary Executive to lead kitchen operations for a high‑profile private estate in Marina, Port Harcourt. The role combines menu creativity, strict food safety compliance, and discreet service for elite household guests.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute customized, nutritious meal plans (e.g., Keto, Vegan, low‑sodium) across Nigerian, Continental, Asian Fusion, pastry and fine‑baking styles.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring global food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards are met.
• Manage inventory, control costs, and source premium ingredients from vetted vendors while minimizing waste.
• Plan and deliver fine‑dining experiences and event catering for private functions, maintaining absolute discretion and confidentiality.
• Supervise, train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering high standards of preparation and presentation.

Required profile

• Degree, HND or professional certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as Chef, Sous Chef or Culinary Executive in luxury hospitality, fine‑dining restaurants or private estates.
• Recognised food‑safety certification (e.g., HACCP or ServSafe) strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to develop custom menus, conduct dish costing and plan nutrition.
• High standards of hygiene, attention to detail and unwavering discretion.
