Credit Sales Officer

About the role

Capinta Consult Limited is seeking a motivated Credit Sales Officer to promote its loan products to traders, SMEs, and business owners in Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State area. You will work on the field, generate leads, and guide customers through the loan application process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers through field visits and lead generation activities.
• Explain loan products, eligibility criteria, repayment terms and collect required documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and follow applications from submission to disbursement.
• Achieve assigned sales and loan disbursement targets while keeping accurate records of interactions.
• Provide regular performance reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Contribute ideas for new business opportunities and customer acquisition strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any relevant discipline.
• Completed NYSC.
• Minimum three years of experience in sales, business development, financial services, micro‑finance or lending.
• Target‑driven, results‑oriented with strong organizational and follow‑up abilities.
• High integrity, accountability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business applications.
