Credit Risk Officer

About the role

The Credit Risk Officer will assess and manage credit exposure for Caesarea College’s financial activities, evaluating counterparties, analyzing statements, and supporting risk‑aware decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of existing and prospective counterparties by analyzing financial statements, cash flow projections, and market conditions, and conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
• Prepare detailed credit risk reports, monitor portfolio performance, and track key risk indicators to inform senior management.
• Identify emerging credit risks, recommend appropriate mitigation measures, set credit limits, and ensure timely implementation of risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies, and update policies as needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in credit risk management and credit analysis, with a proven ability to evaluate creditworthiness and recommend mitigation measures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field; advanced risk management certification (e.g., FRM, PRM) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with experience handling both quantitative and qualitative data to support sound risk‑related decisions.
• High level of integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical and non‑discriminatory practices aligned with the institution’s values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet applications for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using financial analysis tools and relevant risk‑management software.
• Ability to perform detailed financial statement analysis to assess credit risk.
