Credit Marketing Executive

About the role

The Credit Marketing Executive will drive acquisition of new loan customers for Platform Finance, focusing on salaried earners, SMEs, traders, professionals and corporate clients in Lagos. The role involves promoting loan products, assessing applications, and ensuring smooth processing and repayment monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new loan customers through proactive marketing and business development activities.
• Identify and develop relationships with salaried earners, SMEs, traders, professionals, and corporate clients.
• Explain the company's loan products, eligibility requirements, terms and conditions to prospective customers.
• Receive and review loan applications and ensure required documentation is provided.
• Conduct preliminary assessment of customers' financial capacity and repayment ability.
• Liaise with the Credit and Operations teams to facilitate timely processing of loan applications.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the loan application process.
• Follow up on approved loans to ensure timely documentation and disbursement.
• Monitor customers' repayment obligations and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain a healthy loan portfolio and minimise delinquency.
• Conduct customer visits where necessary for verification, monitoring and recovery.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers.
• Meet agreed monthly acquisition, disbursement and repayment/recovery targets.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of an HND in a related field.
