About the role
The Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager will lead the development and execution of corporate communication strategies while driving ESG initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures consistent messaging to internal and external audiences and safeguards the company’s reputation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated corporate communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and implement sustainability programs, including ESG initiatives, to meet corporate objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, NGOs, investors, and the local community.
- Proactively manage reputation, address issues, and handle crisis communications.
- Monitor and influence relevant policies and regulations supporting corporate affairs goals.
- Oversee preparation and publication of sustainability and ESG reports in line with industry standards.
- Lead and mentor the Corporate Affairs & Sustainability team.
Required profile
- HND in Business, Communications, Sustainability or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Social/Management Sciences or related field (advantageous).
- Minimum eight years of relevant experience, with at least five years in a senior management role.
- Relevant professional certification (advantageous).
