Copy and Content Writer

About the role

The purpose of this role is to conceptualise and realise ideas through a comprehensive use of language and the written word. You will think holistically about how an idea comes to life across all creative channels, developing short‑ and long‑form copy that promotes products, builds brand awareness and drives the target audience to act.

Key responsibilities

• Express ideas with clarity, staying on‑brand and targeting the appropriate audience.
• Present concepts to internal and external teams with structured, clear communication.
• Conduct research into target audience demographics, psychology and market trends to ensure messages resonate.
• Create persuasive text for email campaigns, landing pages, social media, advertisements and product descriptions.
• Partner with designers, product, marketing, PR and web development teams to deliver unified campaigns.
• Develop and maintain a content strategy, monthly calendars and brand content pillars.
• Adapt copy for ATL and BTL channels and ensure compliance with advertising regulations.
• Integrate SEO strategies and keywords to maximise organic reach.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a copy and content writer for both offline and online channels.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand narratives across various industries.
• Mastery of grammar, vocabulary and the ability to simplify complex data.
• Understanding of sales psychology, message hooks and powerful call‑to‑actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, English, Journalism or a related field.
