About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cook to join our kitchen team at M and Gee Royal Enterprises in Edo. The role involves preparing a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and customer specifications.
• Ensure food is presented to a high standard and monitor its quality and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Manage ingredient inventory and report any stock shortages.
• Follow all food safety and health regulations.
• Work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Assistant (advantageous).
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Ability to prepare a variety of local and continental dishes.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.
