About the role
The Condition Monitoring Technician will perform vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound and other predictive techniques on plant equipment to detect early signs of deterioration. The role supports data‑driven maintenance decisions and ensures compliance with food safety policies in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled condition monitoring routes using vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound and other predictive tools, generate reports and close work orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Collect, analyse and interpret monitoring data to identify early equipment deterioration, generate condition monitoring reports and raise alerts for abnormal trends.
- Support root‑cause analysis for failures by providing historical trend and diagnostic data.
- Maintain accurate condition monitoring records and update the CMMS/EAM system.
- Coordinate with planning and craft technicians to prioritise corrective actions based on equipment criticality.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the condition‑based and predictive maintenance programme.
- Understand and apply the company’s food safety policy and its benefits.
Required profile
- Organised with strong material management skills.
- Responsible, accountable and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- OND/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production or FMCG environments.
- Relevant certifications in Total Production Management (TPM) and ISO standards.
