About the role
The Compliance Officer will ensure that Candix Engineering adheres to all internal policies, statutory regulations and contractual obligations. This role involves monitoring, auditing and advising management on compliance matters across the mining, energy and metals operations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with company policies, delegated authorities and internal controls.
- Maintain a register of licences, permits, certifications and ensure timely renewals.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and audits across all departments.
- Investigate non‑compliance incidents, prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Track implementation and closure of corrective actions.
- Update policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes.
- Provide compliance guidance and awareness training to staff.
- Prepare regular compliance reports for executive management and the board.
Required profile
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant compliance experience.
- Degree in a related field (law, business, engineering, or similar).
