Compliance Officer – EPC Projects

About the role

The Compliance Officer will support the implementation and monitoring of Oilserv Limited’s compliance framework across all EPC projects and corporate operations. The role ensures adherence to applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, internal policies, ethical standards and governance requirements. It proactively identifies compliance risks, drives awareness and promotes a culture of integrity and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations and statutory requirements.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date compliance obligations register and track regulatory changes.
• Coordinate statutory filings, licenses, permits and regulatory certifications.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and support external compliance inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and delegated authority limits.
• Review business processes to identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Conduct routine compliance reviews and site audits across projects, procurement, finance, HR, logistics, HSE and operations.
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards and risk updates for management.
• Identify compliance risks, maintain the Compliance Risk Register and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support investigations into policy violations, unethical conduct, fraud allegations and other incidents.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability.
• Based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience.
