Community Manager Intern (WhatsApp & Telegram)

About the role

LearnTechNow is seeking a remote Community Manager Intern to own and grow its WhatsApp and Telegram communities. This three‑month internship focuses on reviving inactive groups, driving engagement, and guiding learners toward the right programs.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage LearnTechNow’s WhatsApp and Telegram communities.
• Revive inactive communities and build consistently active, engaging spaces.
• Welcome and onboard new members while creating an excellent first impression.
• Plan and execute weekly engagement activities such as discussions, challenges, accountability groups, webinars, AMAs, networking sessions, and community events.
• Build genuine one‑on‑one relationships with community members.
• Identify interested learners, understand their goals, answer questions, handle objections, and guide them toward enrolling in the right LearnTechNow program.
• Follow up with prospective and existing learners to improve engagement, course completion, and learner satisfaction.
• Monitor community health and continuously improve engagement, retention, and learner conversion.
• Support the Lead Social Media Manager with community‑related campaigns.
• Assist with social media engagement and content distribution when needed.
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute community growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience managing WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Facebook Groups, or similar communities.
• Strong sales, customer success, business development, or relationship‑management background.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence initiating conversations and following up with prospects.
• Strong persuasion and objection‑handling abilities.
• Proactive, ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
