About the role
The Communications Officer will create newsletter and social media content, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. They will work with programme teams to gather success stories, update stakeholders, and support events with clear and engaging communication materials.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare newsletters and social media content while maintaining consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Coordinate with programme teams to gather success stories, update stakeholders, and support events with clear and engaging communication materials.
- Monitor communication performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance visibility and engagement.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient writing skills for reports, web content, social media, and newsletters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with nonprofit or educational organisations is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfort with basic AI and digital tools, and social media platforms.
